LEGION OF ECLIPSE TEST DRIVE.

"Your characters is forcibly recruited into the Legion of the Eclipse, a multiversal legion of supervillains. They've had their eye on you for a while, and now, they'd like to formally invite you to join them!
...The issue is that there are a great deal of you, and the Legion is a very exclusive club. So, you're offered a challenge: if you wish to make it into the legion, you must commit murder or avoid being murdered. But you can do that, can't you? You're a villain, after all!"
This is the official test drive for Legion of Eclipse, a villain-only murdergame. Characters who don't fit this criteria might be PMed by the mod and asked to remove their prompts, for consistency purposes. This test drive will remain open until the game itself opens, and comments from this may be used as part of your murdersheet. Please list your character's name and canon in your header, and please feel free to consult our FAQ if you have any questions. Reserves open on April 12th.
You may use your own prompts, or the example ones below:

You may use your own prompts, or the example ones below:
1 - Meticulous Planning
Despite whatever plots and schemes you might have had going before, you will find yourself waking up here. The room's architecture is stunning, and captures the aesthetic of 1950's sci-fi futurism. Only problem is...is that you don't recognize it. Once you leave, you'll find that the rest of the place reflects that same aesthetic - and judging by the heat and that wall of lava that you can't reach, you're in a volcano. Fortunately for you, it seems as though everyone else here is just as confused...especially by the fact that the terminals scattered throughout the building seem to have comprehensive information on all of you.
The monitors mounted on the walls of just about every room of the building display the message "INFORMATION AT 12PM." Guess you're stuck until then.
2 - (We'll Have Food)
You'll find that despite your hosts' threats, it gets...rather boring around here. Fortunately, there is plenty to do. The kitchens are well-stocked with just about every food you can imagine, made to order on demand from a similar set of kiosks. Other features of The Volcano Lair include a room filled with sharks, a vehicle hanger filled with inoperable mechas and hovercars, a power plant, a fully-stocked bar, a music room, and a war room consisting of a very large table...and nothing else.
Feel free to add your own rooms in your prompts, and if we like them, you might just seem them in-game.
3 - Tenacity Spanning
Another week has gone by, and as per your hosts' threats, they've decided to release the secrets of everyone still alive. Each of the monitors in the building will display footage of you, revealing both devastating secrets and what exactly you were up to in your homeworld. If you haven't told everyone about this stuff yet, now's the time to do so.
4 - (We Repeat, Endless Meat)
Like it or not, they'll have their murders. You're either going to find a body, or you're going to be a body. Or, if you play your cards right, perhaps you'll be the one committing murder to begin with...any way you slice it, the game is afoot. Prepare yourself and react accordingly.
5 - Decades Of Denial
Trials are particularly devastating. You're sat across a large table with enough seats for all twenty of you, made to debate and accuse each other. Perhaps this could be your time to twist things in your favor, if you're so inclined...
6 - Is Simply Why I'll--
Wild card prompt. Go nuts.
Darth Vader | it's this little canon you've probably never heard of it
[After being unceremoniously dumped somewhere that was decidedly not Cloud City, Vader had been left in an exceptionally foul mood by his first sight of this place: magma, pouring down and casting a dull red glow over everything. The heat made it unlikely that it was a hologram.
Very few people knew about Mustafar, and Vader had personally killed most of the ones who did. There remained the Emperor, of course, and this might have been his doing. Regardless it seemed like a deliberate insult, and he was taking it as such.
He swept from the room, cloak billowing behind him, and examined his surroundings. No more lava, at least. There were several information terminals which seemed archaic; he was almost surprised they were in working order when he went to examine the information in them. It was lacking, not that he'd expected anything else.]
You! What planet is this, and why was I brought here?
(we'll have food)
[Not having an empire to run and an emperor to obey left Vader's days strangely empty. To fill them he'd returned to his first passtime, tinkering. This place did have workshops, and enough of the components that he could make due, though the amount of technology he was having to create from scratch was astonishing. It was disturbing to consider that if this was the level of tech he had access to that he might not get much better when he left. One of the worst parts was that it was difficult to get a little privacy, and many of the people here had no respect for boundaries. He turns impatiently to the person approaching him.]
What do you want?

Nor does it explain the guy in all black with a weird bucket on his head that Wrench notices out of the corner of his eye. The bucket helmet thing is definitely why he doesn't realize he's being spoken to, can't see any lips moving plus he can't hear. So Wrench just gives him a weird look, shrugging as if to ask, "What?".
Got a problem buddy?]

Vader looms - he looms very effectively.]
I asked you a question. I am not in the habit of repeating myself.

This guy trying to get up in his face and act big and tough isn't impressing him though. Wrench takes in... everything, glancing down then up looking unamused. His hands come up again, moving in quick motions, at the start pointing at the guy before he just raises a brow at him, as if to say now what.
Wrench may have signed "Your costume is dumb." at him. Maybe. Definitely.]
no subject
Vader himself does not sign, but the expressions are enough to get the general mood of the jab across. So instead he reaches up his hand and twitches his fingers, a touch of Force to add pressure around his throat.]
I assume, as you are acknowledging me, that you are not deaf. Therefore I will tell you to find a better answer, or the Empire will discover if you have the power to scream.
no subject
Also about that assumption... Wrench has never dealt with someone choking him without touching him, that's new for sure, but he can put the pieces together. Hand up and the motion and then it's a bit harder to breathe? Yeah. Not cool.
Still can't hear him talk though. Which no doubt the guy is. Though now that he thinks of it maybe the choking is because he understands what he signed. Wrench is going to go out on a limb and make an assumption himself probably not though and tap tap at one of his ears, grimacing a bit cause the whole choking thing is uncomfortable, while shaking his head no.
Can't hear you, sorry.]

[Watching how his suit works. How he tinkers. The tin man was quite the intriguing figure, and The Joker couldn’t quite place why.
Maybe there was something uncomfortably familiar about him. Which is why he hungrily watches Vader work, sharp eyes taking in the visage.]
I didn’t know this was, ah...a private arrrea.

What do you hope to gain by that?

Someone may also be smart enough - having seen some of the other figure's abilities demonstrated on another person or two - not to announce either of those aloud. Instead, Yokai tilts his head slightly, just on the line of deferential before gesturing at one of the tools Vader has on his table.]
They seem to have limited the supplies.

A wise, but ultimately futile precaution.

[It's not phrased as a question.]
The technology that such feats as have been performed is impressive. It will serve the Empire well, once the leaders of this place are brought to heel.

Nothing. Just need to borrow that wrench.
You, uh, makin' anything for a particular purpose?
